It is a silicone-added, water-based, matte-looking, decorative top coat interior paint with high wipe resistance.

Areas of Use

It is used on interior surfaces where satin plaster or putty is applied, on wall coverings, on wooden surfaces, and in special places such as hotels, hospitals, schools, restaurants, children’s rooms, etc. for restoration and decoration purposes due to its silky matte feature.

Application

The surfaces on which Silicone Silk Mat will be applied must be solid, free of all kinds of dirt, oil and dust, clean and dry. Old paints must be scraped and cleaned and the wall surface must be smoothed with satin plaster or glue putty. The smoothed surface must be left to dry for 24-48 hours. Surface roughness must be cleaned by sanding. After the surface preparation, Silicone Silk Mat application is started. Silicone Silk Mat is applied as a single layer without dilution and left to dry for 24 hours. After drying, Silicone Silk Mat is applied to the surface with a roller, brush or spray system in 2 layers. During the application, care must be taken to ensure that the surface and ambient temperature are between +5°C and +30°C.
