Application
The concrete surface to be applied should not be too wet or too dry. If the concrete is too dry, the surface hardener will not combine with the concrete and will be lifted from the ground in crusts. If the application is done when the concrete is too wet, the surface hardener will separate and the necessary strength and durability will not be provided on the surface. Application is started if a footprint of 0.5-1.5 cm deep remains when you step on the concrete. The ground should be wet enough to absorb the moisture needed by the surface hardener. In the application area; Ground Surface Hardener (Pure Corundum) bags are placed around the panels according to the consumption amount. It is thrown homogeneously on the surface with a hand or mechanical spreading machine. It is expected that the sprinkled material will change color by absorbing the water of the concrete. The material that is sprinkled homogeneously and changes color by absorbing water is compressed with a tray finisher and its integration with the concrete is ensured. In applications over 5kg/m2, first 2/3 of the material is sprinkled. After the disk process, the remaining 1/3 amount of material is sprinkled. The finishing process is carried out again with a disk. After the rough finishing process; Final polishing should be done with fine blade adjustments until the desired shine is achieved. Water should not be sprinkled on the surface during application.
