Fibrous Thermal Insulation Plaster

Heat insulation
schlagen elyaflı ısı yalıtım sıvası

It is a cement-based, fiber and polymer reinforced white colored plaster mortar.

Areas of Use

  • It is applied to obtain a flat surface on the surfaces of exposed concrete, rough plaster and light aggregate heat insulation plasters in interior and exterior spaces before painting or decorative coatings.

Product Features

  • It adheres perfectly and is easy to apply.
  • It has high adhesion due to the chemical additives it contains.
  • It bounces back less, so it is economical.
  • It does not crack.
  • It provides a smooth surface.
  • It is resistant to external effects because it is fiber reinforced.

Surface Preparation

The application surface must be solid, flat and free from substances that reduce adhesion. 2-3 days must be waited for the application to be made on the Fibre-Reinforced Thermal Insulation Plaster surface. The risk of premature drying and flaking of the Final Coat Fibre-Reinforced Plaster on highly absorbent surfaces must be eliminated. The surface must be moistened before application and saturated with water in very hot and windy weather. The surface of light heat insulation plasters must be primed in applications.

To mix up

The appropriate amount of water is poured into a clean mixing container with the help of a scale. Fiber Thermal Insulation Plaster is slowly added into the mixing container. It is mixed with a low-speed mixer for 3 – 5 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The material, which is rested for 5-10 minutes, is mixed again for approximately 30 seconds and reaches a ready-to-use consistency.

Mixing Ratio: For 25 kg of powder: 5.5- 6.5 liters of water, for 1 kg of powder: 0.220- 0.260 liters of water

Application

The ready-to-apply material should be applied to the surface with a trowel in equal thickness. The application thickness should not exceed 5 mm. After the applied mortar has absorbed its water, water is sprinkled on the surface with a plasterer’s brush and the surface is finished as desired with a steel trowel. Especially in applications in hot or windy environments, rapid water loss of the plaster should be prevented with curing material or water for 24-48 hours.

Points to Consider

  • If the ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +30°C, suitable temperatures should be waited. Application should not be done in extremely hot, rainy or windy weather.
  • Application thickness should not exceed 5 mm.
  • Water and new material should never be added to the mixture that has started to dry in the container.
  • It should not be applied on surfaces that are frozen, melting or have a risk of freezing within 24 hours.
  • The prepared mixture should be consumed within 60 minutes at 20°C.
