It is a two-component, polyurethane-bitumen modified, fast-curing, elastic waterproofing material that adheres perfectly to different surfaces.

Areas of Use

  • Roof, terrace areas, parking lots
  • Before ceramic application in swimming and ornamental pools

  • On asphalt and EPDM membranes
  • In plant beds and green roof systems
  • In the insulation of metal or fiber cement roofs

Product Features

  • Provides excellent mechanical properties, high tensile, flexing, tear and abrasion resistance.

Surface Preparation

The surface to be applied must be dry and clean. Concrete and mold residues must be cleaned mechanically, and oil, grease, fuel and paraffin waste must be cleaned using chemical solvents. Damaged coatings and unstable surfaces must be repaired with repair products. The upper surface retention of the subfloor must be an average of 1.5 N/mm². The concrete moisture content of the subfloor must not exceed 4%. If necessary, the subfloor must be cleaned with appropriate measures, such as grinding machines or diamond-tipped machines. All surfaces must be cleaned of dust with vacuum devices. After the surface is primed with a suitable primer, the floor is made ready for application.

To mix up

Bitumen Polyurethane 2K component is completely poured into component A and mixed with a mixer at 300 rpm. The material should be used immediately after mixing.

Mixing Ratio: Component A / Component B: 1/1 by weight

Application

The product has a pot life of 20-25 minutes at 20 ° C. The prepared mixture is applied to the previously prepared surface with a roller, brush or spatula. Care should be taken to ensure that the surface temperature is above 10 ° C during application. Care should be taken to protect the applied surfaces (direct contact with water) for at least 24 hours. Minimum consumption is between 1.0 and 1.6 kg/m² depending on the application surface.

Points to Consider

  • Application should be avoided below 10°C and in very humid environments.
  • Mixing ratios should be considered.
  • A minimum of 12 hours should be waited between layers. (at 20°C)
  • Application should be at least 2 layers.
  • In applications to be made in extremely cold weather, the ambient and ground temperature should be provided with the help of heaters.
  • Application should be made by expert applicators.
  • In order for the material to complete its curing, the ambient and ground temperature should be within the appropriate value range.

Packaging

Storage

It should be stored in its unopened original packaging, in a cool and dry environment at a temperature between +5 °C – +25 °C, away from direct sunlight and without stacking pallets on top of each other.
